SafeGunLock Warranty

Warranty:

Thank you for your taking steps to protect your firearm, your family and yourself with SafeGunLock.  Please review this Limited Warranty, which applies to purchasers and users of SafeGunLock.

What does this limited warranty cover? 

This limited warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period, which is within one (1) year from the time of purchase.  During the warranty period, SafeGunLock will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.  A replacement lock or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original lock or 180 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.

What will we do to correct problems? 

SafeGunLock will either repair the lock at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts or replace the lock with a new or refurbished one. 

What does this limited warranty not cover? 

This limited warranty does not cover damage and claims caused by improper use of the lock or gun by anyone, including, but not limited to unsafe handling, not checking to make sure the lock is inserted into the barrel without a round in the chamber, or pointing the gun in an unsafe direction.  The limited warranty is intended to convey that handling a firearm entails an element of risk, and this limited warranty does not cover anything related to the risk entailed by gun ownership.  Also, the lock is designed to fit a firearm of a certain caliber and barrel length.  Should the lock not fit correctly, the 90-day refund policy applies and not this limited warranty.  In addition, the lock may fit snugly in a firearm.  Although we have tested the metallic material that makes up SafeGunLock and believe it to be unable to cause damage to a gun barrel from correct use, this limited warranty does not cover damage from forcing the lock in or out of the gun barrel in an improper manner.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAFEGUNLOCK, ITS CORPORATE OWNERS AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, OTHER THAN THOSE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED BY SAFEGUNLOCK HEREIN, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
